Event Details
With the support of All-Star Legend and NBA Hall of
Fame Inductee Tim Hardaway, we are proud to present
our 6th annual Hoopers 2Heaven event. This is a safe
and organized basketball event for teens ranging from
ages 14-17. The main event will consist of a 6-team
boys and girls basketball tournament. Also included
will be a scholarship award, DJ's, a back-to-school
bookbag giveaway, live performances, food, games
and so much more! We invite you to support us.

Brian Leach, Simeon High School
“The Pro-Am was the signature summer basketball event in the 1980s and '90s. In 1992, Leach, a local playground legend from Simeon, and Carver alum and Golden State Warriors All-Star Tim Hardaway went at it. Both were in a zone, and when the final buzzer sounded, Hardaway had 72 points and Leach 73, according to the player's retelling for Slam Magazine. Although Leach's team lost the game, it didn't matter. Everybody who was there to witness the showdown won that day.”
